Homes for sale in Emerald Isle NC also shows that two properties were sold and closed during that week. Homes for sale in Emerald Isle NC shows that two of the properties were located in Pebble Beach subdivision in Emerald Isle NC. Emerald Isle NC homes for sale shows that one property put under contract to be sold is located in Oakland Hills, one located in Deerhorn Dunes, one located in The Point, another located in Windfall North, and the last located in Emerald Isle NC general city limits. Emerald Isle NC – Race the Waves

Race the Waves – 8K Road Race & 5K Fun Run

Emerald Isle NC Parks & Recreation Department presents the 3^rd Annual 8K Road Race and 5k Fun Run will begin at 8am at the Eastern Ocean Regional Access at 2701 Emerald Drive in Emerald Isle NC. The 8K course follows a simple out-and-back route from the access, briefly down Hwy. 58, and then along scenic Ocean Drive. The 5K Fun Run will be noncompetitive and begin at 8:15am on Emerald Isle NC. Registration forms and information for the race are available online at www.emeraldisle-nc.org. Fees for the race are $15 before Friday, May 11^th and $20 through Thursday, May 17^th. No registration will be accepted after Thursday, May 17^th. The first 100 RACE (not Fun Run) entrants will receive a free t-shirt and awards will be presented to participants in seven different age categories in the 8k. Mark your calendars Moms!!! Emerald Isle NC Parks and Recreation will be holding a Kids’ Dream Factory on May 5, 2012. Moms get a worry free Saturday morning while the kids are well occupied and engaged in cutting, painting, crafting and creating to produce a fantastic Mother’s Day gift. The kids will write cards and wrap gifts so you’ll be truly surprised at their imagination when the special day arrives. Takes place at Emerald Isle Park & Recreation Department. 7500 Emerald Drive, Emerald Isle NC 28594.

Pre-registration is required. Registration is due by 12 noon, Friday, May 4th. Cost: $25.00 includes everything for a fun, creative morning of art that will produce a beautiful gift, card and wrapping that kids will be proud to present on Mother’s Day to Mom, Grandma or special Aunt. Mothers day

Emerald Isle NC – Bicycle Path Extensions

Information obtained from the City of Emerald Isle presentation to Emerald Isle NC Real Estate Professionals on March 16, 2012.

Currently, the Town of Emerald Isle has a total of 4.2 miles of dedicated bicycle path along NC 58. The bicycle path extends from Coast Guard Road to Hurst Drive, and also from Ocean Drive to Eastern Ocean Regional Access. The Town of Emerald Isle’s goal is to extend the bicycle path from Hurst Drive to Ocean Drive and from Eastern Ocean Regional Access to Indian Beach town line in the future. The town of Emerald Isle also wants to extend the Bicylce Path on Coast Guard road to the Point in the future.

Emerald Isle NC – Unattended Beach Equipment

Information obtained from the City of Emerald Isle presentation to Emerald Isle NC Real Estate Professionals on March 16, 2012.

The Town of Emerald Isle NC implemented an ordinance in 2010 that requires unattended beach equipment to be removed daily, or subject to confiscation by Emerald Isle Town personnel. Exception stickers are provided for oceanfront owners from the 3000 block to the west only. This ordinance will continue into 2012. So do not leave any beach equipment unattended on the beach in Emerald Isle NC.
